Two month check-up & shots

Savannah had her two month check-up and shots this past week.  She is currently 9 lbs. and 21.5 in. long.  She also had a ultrasound of her tummy.  She has been throwing up a lot and the doctor wanted to be sure it was just the acid reflux or something she would outgrow.  The ultrasound came back normal, so...that is a relief.  However, we are still going to go to a specialist to be sure...and to check her herniated umbilical because it has gotten rather large as well. Overall, Savannah is doing very well and beginning to act like a newborn!  She is getting to be so much fun.  She makes faces, some noises, and is starting to look at us!!!

Here are pictures of Savannah from the month of July:

Savannah sporting her blue camo band-aid on her arm and pink camo band-aid on each leg from her blood draw and immunizations.

She's mad that she had to get out of the bath!

Always has that hand on or near her face!

She LOVES the bath!

Savannah at 6 weeks

Savannah hit the 6 week mark on Monday, July 4, 2011...her due date!  Here are a few pictures taken a couple days before and after that day!
Look at the little chubby cheeks she is sporting!

She always has to have her hands on or near her face.

For some reason, she HATES her car seat!

What a cute picture!!!

At Savannah's 6 week appointment she weighed 7lbs, 8oz.  She is now sporting little chubby cheeks...but not an ounce of fat anywhere else!

She continues to struggle with the acid reflux.  She has to stay sitting upright for a good hour after eating...and that is still no guarantee.  She is still gaining weight though, so that is a plus.  That may have something to do with the fact that she usually eats about every 2 hours.

Savannah is beginning to act a little more like a newborn versus a premie!  She usually just eats, sleeps, and poops!!!

She sure is a cute little thing...and it is a good thing because she definitely has a temper.  She wants things right now...or 5 minutes ago!  She LOVES to give those lungs a workout...and sometimes for no apparent reason.

Our Farm

There is now a small lake down below the barn.  The Sevier River flooded.  It forced the horses up closer to the house on a small piece of land and the cows to other plots of land...including out to Delta!
(If you look close you can see the green and white poles marking the edge of our land!)
